HR Labor Generalist
Detroit, MI 48214
The Human Resources Generalist will provide front line guidance to plant operating management and employees in all aspects of human resources related to labor relations and World Class Manufacturing (Stellantis lean manufacturing methodology) implementation. The candidate must be willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and occasional holidays.
Labor Relations Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Equitable administration of the collective agreement including grievance administration, interpretation and overall compliance
Facilitating effective management/union relations
Administration of attendance program
Administration and discipline assessment
Run attendance reports and gather information to compile into presentations with trend analysis
EEOC and other workplace investigations
Coaching, guiding and providing direction to operating management on assigned shift
Implementation of lean manufacturing activities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Strong interest in growing as a Human Resources professional
Interest in working in a manufacturing environment
Possess exceptional oral and written communications skills
Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Available to work variable shifts, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or related field Strong project management, organizational and interpersonal skills
Human Resources or Manufacturing experience
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong project management, organizational and interpersonal skill
