The ideal candidate will provide research, modeling, analysis, and guidance using Operations Research, Advanced Analytics, and Data Science techniques to develop and support data and model-driven decision making through leading-edge business solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Use emerging tools and technology to develop advanced analytics models and automation in media analytics and operations, content programming, consumer insights, weather research, pricing optimization, world market distribution, demand and revenue forecasting, or other areas of the company,
• Assist with the formulation, calibration, validation, and implementation of mathematical optimization and predictive analytics models,
• Communicate complex solutions and ideas to other team members, IT leadership, and business leaders in easily understandable language,
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using agreed upon technology
• Work on a number of projects as a member of the project team and/or as an individual contributor
• Employ a pragmatic approach to evaluate new algorithms and technologies for positive impact, focusing on delivering results

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and a willingness to learn,
• Experience with Python, GitHub, or Data Science,
• Ability to pursue a career in data science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• Ability to learn a programming language
