Business Lead, HR

Meta is looking for a Business Lead to support the Global Head of HR. This person will manage business operations and strategic projects for the HR executive office. Key activities include internal operations, briefing, content preparation, communications, research and information synthesis, and project management on emergent priorities as needed. A successful Business Lead will be organized, strong in project management, able to shift seamlessly between strategic counsel and smaller daily tasks and have excellent communication skills. This person should be a team-player and eager to work in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment.


Business Lead, HR Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Executive Admins on effective office management, including team engagements, meeting preparation, scheduling coordination, and opportunities to improve office practices
  • Work across teams to prepare briefings and coordinate research for meetings with partners and key leaders (e.g. identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, etc.)
  • Support message development for internal and external engagements
  • Build documents, create presentations, and draft emails
  • Attend meetings to help track outcomes and follow ups
  • Ensure progress on priority work-streams, help build decision-making frameworks and deliverables
  • Leverage cross-functional relationships to drive company-wide touch-points and leadership processes, including internal communications (i.e. Q&A’s, All Hands, posts and emails)
  • Accelerate work on emergent priorities as necessary



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with project management, strategy, management consulting, research, operations, or related field
  • Experience building presentations in Keynote and/or PowerPoint
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects and tasks under tight timelines and shifting priorities
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Communication Experience and experience synthesizing information into a clear, cohesive narrative



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with management as well as people at junior and senior levels, including executive and C-suite level, both inside and outside of the company
  • Proven success in project management and exhibiting judgment in decision-making
  • Experience shifting priorities quickly and act proactively
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience handling highly confidential information
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience compiling briefing materials
