The SAP Concur Platform team delivers market leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Travel and Expense Management solutions designed to enable organizations to make intelligent decisions, manage employee travel and spend. Concur platform products deliver a building block enabling clients, partners, and internal teams to extend the functionality for their business needs.

The Role
As a Product Manager, you will shape the Concur Platform product vision and roadmap, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver the next generation of solutions. As a product manager you will become the domain expert, and will be responsible for overall product guidance, prioritization, and stakeholder communication. In this role, you work closely with an incredible team of engineers, user experience designers, product marketing, client, and partner enablement teams to conceive of, define and deliver world class Travel and Expense Management products.
Responsibilities
- Drive the success, quality, cost management and delivery of a product or feature through the entire product lifecycle
- Responsible for product management of product initiatives and features that will shape existing and future SAP Concur Platform products
- Conduct analysis and design activities for the initiatives you own
- Build a product roadmap based on the needs of Concur, our partners and customers, incorporating on-going analysis of best-in-class platforms
- Prioritize and describe the product backlog
- Ensure definition of high-quality specifications according to customer and user requirements
- Ensure delivery of high-quality products pursuant to customer requirements, including the completion of expert tests and validation of the planned and implemented scope
- Work with your team to build, launch, implement, and support the product initiatives you own
- Stay current with industry trends relating to the Travel & Expense industry, SaaS and spend management
- Support, communicate, and advocate for new product features
- Incorporate customer feedback, input from Solution Management and Partner Enablement teams, and analytics into your product plans
- Work across product and engineering teams to facilitate the launch and release of new Concur platform products and features
- Build meaningful and productive relationships with product team members and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; MBA or equivalent education
- 1-5 years product management experience with cloud, enterprise SaaS products
- Experience working with product roadmaps and driving delivery of products through the entire product lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of travel and expense management and domain expertise, preferred
- Ability to work both independently and within a highly collaborative agile methodology
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal), good problem-solving skills, ability to work with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience leading large, diverse, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead by example, collaborate, advocate for different viewpoints and influence without direct authority
- Business English: fluent
