We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Science Developer to join our Corporate Marketing Organization. This role will work closely with IT and data science networks, optimize our data pipeline, and support the deployment of data science use cases

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 2-3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid

Key Activities

• Build data pipelines for large datasets based on existing IT architectures; integrate with other data sources where applicable
• Maintain large data repository and support ETL design and implementation
• Work closely with engineers in an agile environment to develop data solutions
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy Machine Learning models
• Help establish CI/CD workflows and cloud deployment using Four Seasons analytics architecture
• Design, develop and implement reporting platforms (e.g., modeling, BI framework) and complex ETL frameworks that meet business requirements.

Experience, Education and Professional Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, equivalent field, or substantial coursework in relevant disciplines
• 3+ years of working experience in data integration, management, and/or ML engineering
• Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms. MS Azure preferred (Microsoft Synapse, Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, PowerBI)
• Strong language capabilities with SQL, Python, PySpark, SparkSQL, Scala
• Working experience with DevOps principles and/or software engineering best practices
• Resolve ETL, Database/Datawarehouse applications and BI reporting issues to maintain system stability
• Working experience with developing pipelines, software or analyzing large datasets
• Are experienced in Agile methodologies and the hypothesis-driven approach would be an asset
• Familiarity with Docker and Azure Container Services
• DevOps, MLOps, Software Development
