An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered practitioner to join the Diabetes Specialist Nurse team in Tayside.
NHS Tayside is committed to continuous quality improvement. The successful applicant will be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports change and service development, ensuring individuals with diabetes receive a consistently high standard of care.
The Diabetes Specialist Nurse service is integral to the Tayside Managed Clinical Network. Structures are in place for clinical governance, continuous professional development and evidence based practice.
The successful applicant will be expected to deliver evidenced based diabetes care working across Tayside and North East Fife.
As a registered nurse on Sub Part 1 of the NMC Register, entry code RN1/RNA, the candidate will be educated to/or working towards a Masters degree and possess a Non Medical Prescribing Qualification. The candidate should have substantial experience as a Band 6 or above in a relevant primary or secondary care setting, with proven advanced clinical expertise and effective management skills.
The successful candidate will be required to travel across Tayside and North East Fife.
