The Role

We are on an ambitious journey to revolutionise the way we help customers during their insurance claims journey - leaning on the latest digital technology we're looking for a product manager to help bring our ambitions to life. This role will work with stakeholders across the business to help articulate our ideal claims journey, identify the customer problems that are keeping us from achieving it and ideating and validating solutions to solve those problems. If you are a product manager with a strong connection to customer and business value whose strengths lie in discovery and solution validation, this might be the perfect role for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Enable teams to activate end to end digital experiences for customers, colleagues and partners, that are more secure, robust and scalable than ever before, and deliver them with lightning speed
- Bring thought leadership in your field of expertise to support the planning and execution of Technology’s strategic priorities, contemporary operating model and business plan
- Contribute to both Technology and IAG performance with insights, collaborative input and expertise that promotes value creation, innovation, managed risk, and improved performance
- Own the Discovery component of the Product roadmap across multiple product teams and backlog, ensuring alignment with the relevant Product and Journey Roadmaps
- Validate and prioritise identified problems and provide input in conceptualising solutions by leading a cross functional discovery team
Skills & Experience:
• Solution ideation and Validation
Ability to lead the development of solution candidates that are desirable for users, feasible to implement, and that create business value
Strong communication skills to gain support/funding for preferred solution candidates
• Product lifecycle management
Sound knowledge of managing full product lifecycle, including
- Problem definition and validation
• Solution ideation and Validation

Sound knowledge of managing full product lifecycle, including
- building initiative proposals/business cases
- prioritising new features/products
- tracking and managing the performance of features/products over time
- retiring underperforming features/products
Ideally have:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a product manager/owner
- Experience in insurance, claims and/or supply chain a plus
