The Display Hardware team is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to lead the development and validation across a variety of Apple products. You will provide EE design, validation, failure analysis and manufacturing support to our groundbreaking products. Key Qualifications
- Experienced in EE validation/characterization tasks, familiar with EE lab tools and equipments
- Experience in consumer electronics level mass production
- Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support
- Solid Electrical Engineering background, experience in mixed signal EE design at either IC or PCB level
- Ability to communicate and present technology updates and project status to cross-functional teams
- Experience in three or more of the following:
- 1) Consumer electronics final assembly manufacturing process
- 2) Complex electronic system failure analysis
- 3) Power, analog and digital circuit analysis
- 4) Scripting or test automation experience with simulation tools such as Matlab, Python, Objective C and Cadence
- 5) CB SMT manufacturing process
- 6) FPGA / CPLD / micro-controller programming
- 7) Liquid crystal, OLED and other modern display technologies
- 8) Quick-Turn prototyping
Description
- Lead electrical characterization & validation from prototype through mass production - Perform failure analysis on electrical, mechanical and optical issues - Provide technical support at OEM site through product engineering builds - Design and capture PCB level schematic & layout for prototyping and test platforms - Run experiment/simulations to meet various requirements such as display, desense, EMC, ESD and graphics
Education & Experience
PhD or MS with 3+ years of EE design experience
