HR Contract Recruiter
Contract Recruiter - Jacksonville, TX
Monday - Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm) - Hours are flexible
**This is a contract position for approximately 3-4 months**

HR Contract Recruiter: Will source and recruit top talent for production and support positions
Description:
- Perform job task analysis to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards and other external sources
- Source, screen, and recruit applicants using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates; schedules interviews for Hiring Managers
- Handle recruiting documents and new hire documents such as offer letters, background checks, drug screens, I-9’s and E-Verify
- Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure smooth transition into the Company.
- Maintain staffing reports; prepare metrics for weekly staffing meeting to demonstrate successful lead generation of candidates throughout the different stages of candidate sourcing.
- Handle human resources administrative functions as needed
- Maintain the switchboard, answers incoming calls and connects to appropriate person/departments, routes messages appropriately
- Communicate and partner with recruiting and staffing agencies to use as an additional resource
- Attend and prepare for career fairs
- Answers the front door call bell and greets all guests
- Responsible for working in a safe manner and following the company’s safety policies and procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 plus years’ experience as a recruiter
- Previous experience with marketing is a must
- Highly organized, detailed oriented, and ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Read/Write in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing/light industrial environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of Federal, State, and Local employment laws
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
Physical Requirements:
- Able to perform job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Use standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scanners, and fax machines
- Occasional short-term exposure to warm, hot, cool, or cold conditions in a manufacturing environment
- Occasional short-term exposure to fumes or airborne particles and loud noise in a manufacturing environment
- Filing and administrative office work is required
- Lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary
- Learn new software applications as necessary
- Lift up to 20 pounds
