Insurance Product Manager

What the day will look like
As a Product Manager, you will be the communicator & collaborator between our customer, our business, and our digital/marketing teams. In this role you will focus on Aon’s insurance product in the digital channels and partner heavily with our industry expert Client Directors.
How this opportunity is different
You will be responsible for developing and delivering new and refreshed Aon insurance products & solutions, acting as the bridge between the business, customers, and delivery teams to ensure we drive both customer happiness and business value.
This role will contribute to and support execution of the product strategy, vision, and roadmap. You will manage the roadmap and collaborate with internal teams to ensure products are launched on time and on budget.
In this hands-on role, you will lead in developing and delivering new insurance products and refreshing our existing product suite for the SME market all whilst working closely with our industry expert client directors.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Complete product positioning research and suggest improvements
- Own, lead and communicate the Product Roadmap by translating it into initiatives, features and a program backlog
- Perform market, driven, and customer analysis
- Find opportunities and problem spaces, articulate market, and customer needs
- Identify risks and problems and proactively resolve them.
- Share market trends and suggest new opportunities.
- Provide regular status reports to key stakeholders, making recommendations
- Three to five years’ experience in a similar role in the financial services sector preferably with prior experience in insurance sector
- You can challenge established ways of doing business while influencing desired outcomes, prioritise competing business priorities, and meet company vision and strategy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a talent for distilling information for partners
- Daring and fun with a curiosity about learning new things
- Data-driven and analytical in approach
- Strong experiences using software programs, such as MS (Outlook) and any CRM
- Tertiary qualified in marketing and/or business
- Relevant Degree in Marketing, Business, preferred
