As part of our METS CS (Mechanical Engineering Tools and Solutions Customer Success) team, you’ll help support and strengthen our mission. Our team’s charter includes solution production readiness & user socialization, system integrity, maintenance & support, workflow streamlining, vendor management, and developing training & knowledge articles. Great interpersonal skills, customer focus and experience with mechanical engineering CAD and PDM/PLM tools are key skills for this role. A competitive candidate should be able to work independently, prioritize incoming requests, react quickly to customer demands and can work optimally under demanding timelines.

Key Qualifications

  • You have more than 3 years of experience using CAD and PDM/PLM tools - NX and Teamcenter preferred
  • Solid understanding of PDM/PLM tools such as Teamcenter, integration with CAD and other systems
  • Experience providing technical training in CAD, PDM and other engineering tools
  • You have extraordinary communication skills and are passionate about delivering world-class services
  • Ability to detail clear and concise technical documents

Description

• Provide day to day support for a number of tools deployed in the mechanical environment, with a focus on NX and Teamcenter • Ensure problems are accurately collected in internal ticketing system and that solutions are provided in a timely manner • Regularly supervise, identify trends and report on metrics for user support • Collaborate with end users, multi-functional partners, and vendors to ensure the best solutions are provided • Identify trends in support issues and make recommendations for tool and/or workflow changes based on these trends • Document process and workflows to enable self help for the user community and ensure the scalability of support • Balance customer needs and requests with the scalability of our tools and support efforts • Focus on improving the workflows directly impacting teams across Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, as well as the Apple Watch.

Education & Experience

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or significant work experience
