Mortgage Product Manager - Portfolio Risk

In this role you will be the end to end owner of the Mortgage product. This includes the sales, fulfillment, marketing, customer knowledge/experience, segmentation and profitability functions. Being the end to end owner is about ensuring each area is held accountable for the implementation and design. To make this process operate efficiently a communicative and consultative approach must be taken while building relationships with key stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Be the product lead for the Assessment/Risk stream under the strategic initiative Time to Yes (TTY) for a period of 18 months
- Develop and implement the HSBC Mortgage Strategy by using design principles to ensure clear direction and market innovation.
- Develop the Customer Segment Plan, which includes a full above the line and below the line Marketing Plan, and end-to-end Customer Contact Plan
- Own and drive all identified initiatives to integration into the business with full reporting to ensure complete monitoring and reviewing where required.
- End-to-end ownership of the Mortgage product portfolio, with focus on portfolio risk
- Liaise with all key stakeholders to ensure the strategy has full ‘buy-in’ and support to ensure a smooth implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification is desirable.
- Strong understanding of drivers and levers of the mortgage portfolio.
- Sound understanding of the mortgage industry in Australia.
- Demonstated analytical ability.
- Mortgage industry knowledge is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian or New Zealand PR/Citizenship or working rights or who can show they currently have unrestricted work rights in Australia with no limitations.
