POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for daily operations of the Outlet Retail Store. This includes customer service, stocking, merchandising, inventory control, budgeting, and record keeping. Also responsible for production efficiency, safety and cleanliness standards, loss prevention, and coordination of merchandise flow for bulk or wholesale.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the overall operation of the Outlet store.
  • Recruits, selects, develops, evaluates, and counsels his/her employees.
  • Recommends adjustments to staffing levels as justified by demands.
  • Maintains positive, team atmosphere and relationship with peers, subordinates, and other departments.
  • Maintains appropriate standards of cleanliness and organization of Outlet sales floor and store grounds.
  • Understands the post operations process and able to react to ever-changing work environment.
  • Highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates high integrity, respect for all individuals, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity.
  • Assists with annual budget preparation; oversees budgets for Outlet location.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and professional development to staff. Models the expected behavior of the staff.
  • Direct, supervise, and coordinate staff activities to assure sales and production goals and objectives are being met.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has supervisory responsibilities over the staff assigned to the Outlet.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and climbing for prolonged periods of time (up to 10 hours per day).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Basic math and Microsoft Office competency.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Supervisory or management experience in retail, manufacturing, or warehousing.
  • Creative and flexible problem solving; team oriented; appropriate grooming and dressing.
  • Ability to complete necessary paperwork and reports in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Proficiency in setting and managing schedules for staff.
