Your Role and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the implementation of IBM protective technologies, including but not limited to, controlled access systems (CAS), security badge systems, visitor management systems, CCTV, and security alarm systems. Projects to install new systems, upgrade existing systems, and the steady-state maintenance of systems fall within the scope of responsible IBM location(s).
2. As Security Specialist be responsible for daily security operation for IBM location(s) as assigned including physical security, risk analysis, emergency planning and crisis management support, and incident management etc in protecting IBM people, property, and information.
3. Provide foresighted security advice and effective security support to local management team and business units.
4. Manage and coordinate local guard team to deliver vigilant and effective security services/measure to the IBM locations. Ensure local security guard perform their duties as instructed by written Post, protocols, and SOPs.
5. Support the installation and maintenance of security equipment and tools, such as CCTV systems and access control to secure IBM offices and restricted spaces including client project rooms/areas, etc.) to ensures a safe and secure environment for IBM and its clients.
6. Play a role in supporting the internal/external review/audit to IBM and its clients such as peer review, Corporate Audit, SOC2, ISO27001, etc. by presentation, providing artifacts and other information as required.
7. Works on problems that are broad in scope and performs analysis of data to facilitate decision-making.
8. As security professional trained with executive protection, to ensure a safe environment for these individuals globally - providing close security for the Chairman, President and CEO, members of the board of directors and other executives of the organization and their families in case of need.
9. Plans, coordinates, and conducts investigations of alleged and suspected violations of law including theft, fraud, computer crimes, and workplace violence as required. And be able to manage complex investigations as projects, engaging all relevant stakeholders and leading the investigation to conclusion.
10. Establishment and maintenance for the liaison with relevant local government authorities for security support.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Understands security organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies. Previous professional experience in security, law enforcement, criminal justice or other security related fields. Incumbent has significant experience with typical security sections like Physical Security, Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Investigation, Information Security, Audit/Review, Travel Security and Executive Protection etc.
2. Has sufficient knowledge of Physical Security, Emergency Planning and Technology, e.g. Risk Analysis, Emergency Plan, Crisis Management Team, Controlled Access Systems, Video Management Systems, etc.
3. Analytical and problem-solving skills on specific security approaches, implementation and input to strategies. Uses internally and externally collected data and data analysis to solve issues in the relevant security disciplines. Independently identifies complex problems, proposes and develops solutions related to functional objectives, anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks. Applies creativity and judgment in resolving professional, technical or operational problems.
4. Works independently and controls own work priorities. Provides advice in Security operational/technical areas of specialization as a recognized expert.
5. Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers, suppliers, contractors and law enforcement personnel. Within area of responsibility, accountable for audit compliance and implementation of cost control programs. Accountable for department results and for activities and/or projects involving multi-functional, country-wide or regional teams.
6. At least 5 years experience in security field of international corporation.
7. Proficiency in English writing & speaking and fluency in Mandarin is required.
8. Leadership experience for a team is preferred.
