Your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Responsible for supporting assigned service sales tasks in the APAC region especially in India.
  • Provides a strong service product sales and sales support function with the ability to support the growth of the country cluster service business.
  • Support country service sales with follow up, and customer communication.
  • Provides measurably input to the definition of new processes and optimizing operational actions in line with corporate strategy and with short-term / mid-term strategic relevance for Service, with direct influence on the financial and non-financial result of Service and with limited risk potential for the group.
  • Responsible for ensuring that regional service sales organizations are aware of all LPT service products that are relevant for their markets.
  • Interaction with LPT technology centers to ensure full understanding of available service products and how they can be taken to the local markets.
  • Ensure that timely and pro-active updates are provided according to customer expectations.
  • Responsible for supporting the Country service sales organization to achieve its service product sales targets, including service product sales and sales support, offer preparation and training.
  • Assist in preparation and execution of service sales strategy for selected service products and countries (incl. potential analysis, client identification, sales targets & responsibilities etc.)
  • Collect service product feed-back and market information
  • The position entails dealing with problems in the area of Sales which are not yet fully determined.
  • The tasks relevant for the position requires willingness to adapt to new technologies and applications.
  • Prepare sales and delivery reports as needed.
  • Meet sales/KPI targets.

Your profile and qualifications:

The candidate is an experienced sales / business development manager work experience. S/he is motivated to work in a dynamic international environment and is credible and comfortable in dealing with senior business executives.

Experience in regional sales competencies, as proven by:

  • Degree in engineering or a commercial education or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Deep understanding of Asia Pacific and India market.
  • Service sales experience, particularly sales of complex service solutions
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in multinational company especially in after sales department and able to work in complex matrix organization
  • Able to launch strategic initiatives independently.
  • Fluently in English is a must.
  • Good understanding in Dairy, Food and Chemical industry and technology would be advantage.
  • Able to demonstrate success and experience managing accounts.
  • The position requires willingness to travel up to 20% of the working time
