We at ModernMD Urgent Care are dedicated to providing exceptional patient experiences by delivering high-quality, fast, and affordable medical care to people of all ages, no appointments necessary. From our humble roots as a whiteboard startup on a mission to improve access to care in care-shortage neighborhoods and change the very fabric of healthcare delivery in Brooklyn, we have grown into a seven-site network of modern, upscale, and integrated centers spanning the borough. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care
• Evaluate and medically treat patients in accordance with our medical delivery standard of care as well as any and all regulatory guidelines, as applicable to your license
• Oversee and manage delivery of all medical services by medical staff while on shift
• Oversee/collect biological specimens and process them, when needed, for testing
• Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed using our EMR system
• Prescribed and/or dispense common medications for urgent care patients

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant/Nursing from an accredited institution
• Licensure as a FNP or PA, with at least two years experience in an acute care setting
• Board Certified - Emergency Room, Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Occupational Health; ER or urgent care experience a plus
• Unrestricted, active, and current New York license to practice
• Unrestricted, active, and current DEA number/license, if applicable to your license
• Excellent communicator with staff, patients and patient’s family members
• Enjoys treating patients
• Sense of urgency, accustomed to tight deadlines, fast paced environment and ability to quickly adapt to change/stressful situations
• Ability to display high degree of inspiration and leadership for team members to retain focus of providing highest levels of patient satisfaction
• Experience with providing Workers Compensation services, preferred
• Experience with EMR system, preferred
