Warehouse Logistics Associate

Basic Function:

The Warehouse Associate works to inventory incoming stock, fill orders on outgoing stock, remove clutter in the warehouse and assist with the transfer of materials between manufacturing and warehousing locations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently organize warehouse to maximize space and minimize debris. Move finished merchandise to/from production stations to pallet positions within the warehouse or out of these positions for forward pick locations.
  • Receive and verify inbound receipts from vendors and distribute to appropriate person(s) or area(s) in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, and policies.
  • Report depleting raw materials levels to Lead Logistics Coordinator.
  • Accurately select/pick finished goods by hand or machine from the racked area of the warehouse according to order pick lists. Stage materials for domestic and international ground and freight shipping services. Continuously conduct product inspection ensuring compliance with standard quality requirements.
  • Maintain plant cleanliness and organization by performing daily housekeeping.
  • Aid in quarterly inventory counts.
  • Promote safety at the workplace by wearing personal protective equipment in compliance with company’s policy.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Ability to meet objectives in order to complete ongoing operational tasks of organization unit. This includes prioritization of tasks and effective time management.
  • Basic math aptitude including arithmetic, measurements and weights, and basic geometry.
  • Experience with safely operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.
  • Strong team mentality.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Schedule flexibility to work shifts and overtime based on company needs.

Education/Training:

Degree: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Two years of experience in a manufacturing facility or other related experience.
  • Experience in use of pallet jack/power jack, hand carts, and order picker not limited to other material handling equipment.
  • Fork Lift Certified preferred.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
