Warehouse Office Associate

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Office Associate to join our team! This position is located on site, in our Bridgeport, CT location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Work closely with the Customer Service team and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure the order process is accurate and efficient
- Prepare bills of lading and express mail labels including all shipping documents
- Contact trucking companies to schedule pickups and call tags
- Coordinate the loading of trucks upon arrival
- Provide access and greet customers as they come to the Warehouse
- Close all outgoing shipments including sales representatives and customer pickups
- Keep the Warehouse Visitor Log current and up to date
- Prepare daily shipping batches and match paperwork
- Review Record Shipments and other system related errors
- Coordinate the loading of truck shipments/customer pick-ups
- Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading containers and other warehouse duties that may be assigned
- Promote and support all company policies and procedures including safety
- Provide freight quotes for Customer Service.

Skills/Abilities/Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with an ERP system
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as pick tickets, packing slips, orders, bills of lading, and procedure manuals
- Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, WMS, and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP)
- Customer Service Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to write routine correspondence
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Add, subtract multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays
